Brett Who?

So apparently there is this professional footballer named Brett Farve (or something like that) who announced his candidacy for the starting Quarterbacking job for the New York Jets Professional Football Concern. I remember hearing something about him briefly back in 1991 when he played in Atlanta for a year, but then he just vanished for 16 years. I think I heard somewhere that he had been banished far to the north, likely playing in Canada for some or all of that period. It's hard to say. There is such sparse information on this lad. I suspect he may have taken over quarterbacking duties for the Montreal Alouettes or the Saskatchewan Roughriders. I wonder how many Rouges he must have scored over the years. I guess the world will never know. Perhaps if he plays well enough in New York, Mr. Farve might even make a name for himself in the NFL.
